1.) Where were you born and raised? when did you decide to start skateboarding?- i was raised in Monmouth county ,New jersey USA
I skated off and on as a young child always, but when i took serious interest in it and did not stop till this day was the summer before 8th grade....I remember it to this day. I became a Loner I found myself and my skateboard was my best friend and to this day when some broad or some legal shit or some idiot mumbles some shit under his breath about me and I ask"what the fuck you just say ?"realize these aren't skaters..they are baffoons that never left my area..My skateboard has always been there for me ..she/he hahaha watever ya wanna call ya board is the way to be alone..that and Bob Dylans music
2.) Who was the first sponsor to call you  back?
I never ever tried to get sponsord..but it was 5 boro from Steve rodriguiez then I moved on to Alien Workshop....thank you Joe Castrucci I miss ya my man
3.) What was the first photo you ever had published? can you remember what you did after you saw yourself in a mag?
hahahaha the first photo? I remember it clear as day man. it was A Nollie Heelflip down the Brooklyn Banks Steps in transworld shot by Reda!!!!!! thx reda!
It's funny cause usually during the week as a kid I'd skate ledges/flatbars during the daytime on weekdays and flatland on weeknite..I fucking always hated flatground..it's funny man..Even being 15 I'd be in a parking lot learning switch tres and just hating life, but it i took my anger out on them switch tres man.Instead I probly would've attacked my teachers or some clowns in high school..I was quiet and if i didn't have the skate motivation i'd be in jail for sure..It kept me away from the negetive shit..drinking ..drugs...chicks and gave me something to do..we all know this as skaters ..it's a long lonely road man. but it worked out!!! i guess ...maybe i'd be a doctor ..forget the ifs,and's or but's, I chose skating.and became pro for the best brands in the world.I can die a happy man .

to end the answer on question number three.. For the nollie heel it was a friday cold night man..like January ...dead ass cold I was alone doing nollie heels on flat and just kept doin em over n over n over and the my man man Tim Achille seen me at a hot nitetime skate spot indoor with heat and was like "damn, man you got them nollie heels Brian ..Do that shit down tha banks steps..So i woke up that sat wmorning went to a six step ..did like 10 nollie heels down the six step and took the subway to the brooklyn banks..then boom broken full arm cast an everything i got the sequence n footy in maybe 12 tries...my answers are long but I really wanna tell my story ..I didn't just show up one day and become who I am man..the road was dark the journey was hell at times and great at other times..winters in nyc.philly n jersey make you a man...i love it..
just toss tha thermal on and hoodie gloves beanie yano..when i go to LA i pop my tricks higher man ..the wether the ground its insane..a cali 13 stair equals an east coast 9 stair.u do the math ..

4.) Skateboarding has changed so much since you've started, are the pros and cons of skateboarding yesterday the same as today? (whats the difference between then and now?) .....yeah things have changed but it's the same..the internet shit is running the industry yanno..before we had magazines..I would run to the fucking mailbox everyday after school to see if my TWS ,Slap,Thrasher came man...funny I loved that feeling i fucking loved it bro....waiting a month or two to see what ya favorite dude did in the magazine yanno....now ya got slap message boards with old men that never done shit in their life commenting on people, it's laughable man, it just is , i went from waiting for Slap Mag to now never waisting my time reading the lies and garbage on there man it's sad bro..."it's not dark yet but it's getting there" Bob dylan
but out of meeting almost every pro skater in my time..i call about 10 still real deal friends not just hangers on and wierdo freeks..
i still skate with Tim O'connor .fred gall.kerry getz. steve durante . jereme rogers is the homie. kyle nicholsen is my new young bllod..love dude. anyone else yall know who ya are.even though i had differences with some people i still respect the skaters like Colin mckay was always dope, we clicked on a personal leval yanno..

5.) Which brings us to our next question, do you think skateboarding has become watered down?  ......It's different as if life in 2010 n 2011

6.)You've always had a laid back personality and style, what kept you so humble so many years?.....what kept me behind the scenes ya mean? not all out there?
we'll I am who I am .....whatever i say or do is me ..so many fakes are out there man ..I don't wanna waste my brain on em. Dude I'm thankfull for all the homies across the globe that have and still do support me . through alien/habitat to Plan B to Selfish...I love ya'll and I know you guys understand it all..sometimes it's money that they won't pay ya so ya gotta be out of their camp...just bounce or clash and ya get in arguments ...other times it's this or that ..as for now if everything goes we'll after i drop a lil montage with Selfish on the web and a whole new clothing deal i have cooking up i think my loyal fans will be amped man...so yeah as for now I plan to end my carreer with me n jereme rogers ....that's my thought for now..I have so much respect for JR he helped another east coast skater when I had offers from other brands that weren't me not all all... ..yanno?
so..I'm down for him n the camp and vice versa brotha..

  
7.) Besides skateboarding, what else gets you going?.......Family ,real Friends, riding my bike so 10 miles just clearing my head out yanno....and last but not least kicking it with my pops n brother having a good talk with a few tall boys ....

8.) We want to know what Brian Wenning collects? toys,decks,cars, etc........I looked in my extra bedroom like an hr ago found a 50 inch flat screen tv man ...I guess i collect fitted caps i don't rock , burberry button ups , dope leather jackets and of course foriegn currency and throwback shoes..air force ones bro..

9.) Have you ever watched a video and recognized a skater similar to yourself? (Question inspired by: Frank Daniello)....yes I have alot homie..it's a compliment man ..if someone is doing shit you do man , it's the best form of respect.

10.) We interviewed tha homie Ian Reid a few months back, cool ass shit. Whats your last sk8 memory with tha homie? i'm the godfather to ians son....
so The answer ya wanna hear i'm sorry me n ian like brothers man ...I can't get into that..we skate we chill we talk we laugh at fools and we stand up for ourselves .never change.
