I have been watching your videos for over 2 years now and I always wondered which did you do first and which do you enjoy the most, shredding or film?  well shit i started skating n the 80's and im from the hood.. so the only peeps wit video camera back then was the tv stations or rich ass people that i aint know..so that answer is Skateboarding.

I've seen videos of you in japan, what was it like skating over there?ah shit japans fun its a strange place because its so many damn people but its mad fun its kinda like ny you can just skate thru the streets and do what the fuck u want..What inspired you to start filming?   my inspiration to film was to show all the niggaz n my hood the WORLD .. some of em aint never left brooklyn and i thought it was sad.. even though they aint give a fuck .. i knew what was up so i made my first video to show them that the world is fun.and also that skateboarding wasnt all WHITE BOY shit as they called it n the hood..

Is there anybody you never skated with that you would like to skate with or film? why?   na i skate with all my friends.. i been fortunate enough to grow up in a era where all of the best dudes are from so we known each other before they claimed the "best dude" titles n shit .. i still see and film some young kids and im like damn your fuckin good..but its not that often.

How did you meet Brian Wennings and whats it like skating with him?   ahahahah me & brian.. ahahah man o man thats a funny 1.. i had just started skating again after 4 years and i went to the banks it was about 830am and he was there too.. so i said anybody out skating this early n the fuckin mornin is dedicated like me.. lets be friends and that was it.. been down for 13 years !

if you could replace skateboarding with anything, what would it be?   shit man aint no replacement for skating..i tried to think but aint shit else.. i mean goin to the league. but i dont got hoop dreams so fuck that..

whats your definition of success?   success - thats a tough one.. i mean its so many different forms of it .. its alot of PERSONAL gratification.. like the first time you do a proper ollie.. shit thats a success you be mad hype like YESSSSS .. but for me..tough because as you get older the bar for success gets high and higher and higher..

Best camera to film with?   well best camera .. for me.. its the sony pc5 or pc9 thats what i use.. they are just shitty pocket cameras basically.

I heard you just finished a new video for 2010, when can the public get a copy and whats next for ian reid?   yes i finished the new video on dec31st .. its in the final draft states.. so in a few weeks it'll be ready for ya'll
